Welcome to Bird Dating at Caged Bird Rescue.

So what is Bird Dating?

Bird dating is our way of finding friends, mates, companions for our lonely birds. We'll post up the bacherlor our bachelorette and anyone who has a bird on the opposite sex and same species who would like to give their bird to a good home can contact us.

Why do we do Bird Dating?

We have dealt with many problems birds in the past; many of the problems elusive to the best of vets. But we have found the best thing to help a bird, unhealthy or not is to find it a partner. This has in the past done wonders for many of our birds: its cured plucking, aggresiveness, destructive habits, and we want every bird to have this chance.

Please note the birds that are given to us stay with us for life. We will NOT rehome any our of birds. None of our birds are used for breeding. These are strict policies of Caged Bird Rescue.

  Meet Charlie, the Red-lored Amazon

Charlie is a lovely fellow, he has male friends around the sanctuary but he is desperate for a female one. But the thing is, none of the girls seem to be interested in him. He'll do all he can to get them to notice him, but they all fly away!

So if you have a female Amazon who you think would like a male friend, please help poor old Charlie out!

This is Licker, a Pale-headed Rosella

So why is he called Licker? Becuase he seems to enjoy licking. Doesn't matter what it is, Licker will lick it. He doesn't bother any of the other birds, just sits by himself and licks away.
Thats why we think a female friend for Licker would be good for him.

If you have a female pale headed Rosella, let us know.

This is Fly, a Green Wing Macaw

Fly has always been a great flyer, one of the best. But out of all our Macaws, he has no one to fly with. And because of this, the other macaws, especially Chopper, pick on him. A friend for Fly will really build up his confidence.

If you have a female Macaw, give Fly a reason to fly.

The best of buds, Sop and Pop, the Lovebirds.

These two birds are great together, we have even seen them feeding each other! But just one problem, when a female becomes between them they become the worst enemies! Take her out and they're best buds again.

So please help us find 2 female love birds for these two, so they stop fighting!
